Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized care plans
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
- Assist the dentist during examinations with professionalism and precision
- Manage patient records using CLEARDENT dental software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain a clean,
organized treatment area following all infection control protocols and CRDHA standards
Qualifications
- Valid ALBERTA licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment is an asset, New grads are welcome
- Proficiency in CLEARDENT dental practice management software is an asset, willing to train
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
