The Opportunity:

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team for a locum contract to cover an extended medical leave. This position offers excellent stability and a guaranteed schedule for the duration of the term, with robust potential for ongoing casual or permanent shifts in the future.

Schedule:

Our immediate need is primarily:

Tuesday & Thursday | 11:30 AM–7:00 PM

Additional shifts may be available, including Fridays and occasional Saturdays, depending on availability and practice needs.

Responsibilities:

- Provide individualized dental hygiene care and patient education.
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal assessments.
- Take accurate digital X-rays and maintain accurate electronic patient charts.
- Collaborate closely with the dentist to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, sterilized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- Valid registration and in good standing with the College of Registered Dental Hygienists of Alberta (CRDHA).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
