We are a non-profit organization under CWELLC, dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with at least 2 years of full-time experience to join our preschool and toddler program.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers , preschool and children with disabilities (asset), and be skilled in programming, observational learning, play-based emergent curriculum, and planning activities that reflect children’s interests.

This position requires physical stamina, the ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills. Educators will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s development while growing professionally in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for toddlers and preschoolers, aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Lead classroom activities, circle times, and play-based learning experiences based on children’s interests.
- Foster individual learning through observation, documentation, and adaptation of teaching strategies.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all children.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s attendance, progress, and other relevant documentation.




- Participate in ongoing professional development and monthly team meetings.

Requirements:

- Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with minimum 2 years full-time experience.
- Experience working with toddlers (18–30 months) and preschool-aged children (30 months–6 years).
- Experience with children with disabilities is an asset.
- Skilled in programming, observational learning, storytelling, and play-based/emergent curriculum.
- Ability to plan and lead activities independently as well as in a team setting.
- Solid communication skills in English; French is an asset.
- Physical ability to perform the job: bending, twisting, sitting, standing for long periods, and engaging in indoor and outdoor activities.
- Up-to-date immunization records, CPR certification, and valid police background check.
