LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic Oakville

LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic is a medical fitness clinic with locations across Canada specializing in chronic disease prevention and management. We offer personalized exercise, health education and health coaching in a small group environment.

At LIVE WELL Exercise Clinic, we are looking for Registered Kinesiologists who are passionate about working with individuals managing a variety of health conditions. Our team members are caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, bringing both expertise and creativity to help our members overcome barriers and achieve their health goals.

Work schedule approximately 16.5 hours/week 3pm – 8pm Tuesday and Thursday evening and Saturday morning 7:30am – 2pm.

Job Responsibilities

● Keeping accurate member records, including medical history, medications, goals and chart notes.





● Collecting healthy vitals such as resting and exercising blood pressure and heart rate, oxygen saturation, blood sugar.

● Complete postural and fitness assessments

● Create and update program designs for each member, considering their current fitness level, function & mobility, goals and medical history.

● Coaching and educating members towards healthy habit adoption.

● Manage symptomatic members as appropriate.

● Written communications to other health care professionals as required.

● Demonstrating, cueing and correcting exercises.

Required

● A degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science

● Registered Kinesiologist with COKO and in good standing

● 2 years of experience working in an exercise setting

● Valid CPR/AED and first aid certification.

● A Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification (CSEP/ACSM) or a willingness to complete a clinical exercise training program within 8 weeks of employment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
