Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Part-Time | 10–15 hours per week

Compensation: 70/30 split (70% to RMT)

Expected earnings: approximately $95–$110+ per treatment hour

Empire Athletics & Wellness is expanding, and we’re looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at our brand-new Victoria location.

Empire is not a traditional gym or clinic. We are a community-driven strength, conditioning and high-performance facility working with everyone from youth and competitive athletes to active adults who simply want to move, feel and perform better.

Our new facility brings strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, recovery and wellness services together under one roof. We’re looking for an RMT who wants to build their practice within that environment and become an integral part of the Empire community.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is professional, personable and passionate about helping people move and feel their best.

The ideal candidate





- Is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC
- Carries appropriate professional liability insurance
- Is comfortable working with athletes, active adults and general-population clients
- Communicates well with clients, coaches and other practitioners
- Is reliable, professional and confident working independently
- Values movement, recovery, injury prevention and long-term health
- Wants to be part of a collaborative community rather than simply renting a treatment room

Experience in sports massage or working with athletic populations is an asset, but not required.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an RMT who wants the independence of building their own clientele without having to start from scratch.

Empire works with a large and growing network of athletes, sports organizations, families and adult members. Our goal is to create a true performance and wellness ecosystem where coaches and practitioners can collaborate and refer clients internally when appropriate.

We want our RMTs to build successful, long-term practices within Empire.

Compensation: 70/30 split, with 70% of treatment revenue paid to the RMT. Expected earnings are approximately $95–$110+ per treatment hour, depending on services and treatment pricing.

Expected hours: 10–15 per week initially, with the opportunity to expand.
