Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

SOMOM Pelvic Health & Family Wellness — High Park, Toronto

SOMOM Pelvic Health & Family Wellness is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic in High Park.

SOMOM provides personalized care through every stage of life, including pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pelvic health, menopause, pediatric development, orthopedic rehabilitation, and family wellness. We are looking for an RMT who values collaborative, patient-centred care and wants to build a successful practice within a warm and supportive clinic setting.

Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough health histories and massage therapy assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s needs and goals

- Provide safe, professional, and evidence-informed massage therapy
- Treat musculoskeletal pain, postural concerns, stress-related tension, sports injuries,



and general wellness needs
- Provide pregnancy and postpartum massage within the therapist’s training and professional scope

- Educate patients regarding self-care, movement, stretching, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
- Obtain informed consent and communicate clearly throughout treatment

- Follow infection-prevention, hygiene, privacy, and clinic safety procedures
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
- Maintain professional boundaries and comply with all CMTO standards

- Participate in clinic meetings, professional development, and community initiatives when required
- Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and positive patient experience

Qualifications

- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Eligible to practise as an RMT in Ontario
- Strong assessment, treatment, communication, and documentation skills

- Professional, dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Committed to ethical, inclusive, and trauma-informed care

- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset
- Experience or additional education in pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic health, lymphatic drainage, scar therapy, sports massage, or pediatric care is an asset

Pay: $50.00-$90.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
