Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage therapy sessions that address individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and rehabilitative techniques
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their health history, preferences, and specific concerns
- Maintain detailed treatment records to track client progress and ensure continuity of care
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism in all interactions and treatments
- Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality
Experience
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing board or regulatory authority
- Prior experience or new grads delivering massage therapy in a clinical or wellness setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health histories
- Excellent communication skills to effectively listen to clients’ needs and clearly explain treatment plans
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional manner
