We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions thoroughly, utilizing medical terminology and clinical judgment to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications accurately, including injections and IV therapies, following prescribed protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient progress meticulously in electronic health records such as Epic or Cerner systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts, especially for complex cases involving pain management, dementia care, or pediatrics.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist with laboratory testing to support diagnostic processes.
- Provide patient education on medication administration, disease management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Support patients across various settings—including hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care—delivering compassionate senior care and pediatric nursing as needed.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards.
- Proven hospital experience with acute care expertise; familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations such as children, seniors, or dementia patients is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems like Epic or Cerner; prior medical office experience is a plus.
- Robust knowledge of medication administration protocols and laboratory procedures including phlebotomy.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and compassionate patient interaction.
