Registered Nurse (RN) – Private Wellness Clinic

About the Role

KMT Medical & Allied Health Group is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic in Oakville.

This is an in-person role that combines clinical nursing responsibilities with clinic operations. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, organized, proactive and comfortable supporting multiple practitioners and patients while helping the clinic operate smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical and Patient Support

- Welcome patients and complete nursing intake and assessments as appropriate.
- Obtain and document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation and weight.
- Review relevant medical history, medications, allergies and treatment considerations.
- Support physicians, Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare professionals with clinical needs and patient flow.
- Identify possible contraindications or concerns and escalate them appropriately.
- Anticipate practitioner and patient needs throughout each visit.
- Communicate clearly with patients, practitioners and administrative staff.
- Provide professional patient education and aftercare instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation.

IV and Treatment Support

- Perform venipuncture and initiate IV access as required.




- Administer prescribed IV treatments according to established clinical protocols and within the RN scope of practice.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and help ensure their comfort and safety.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in patient condition.
- Follow infection-prevention, medication-safety and emergency procedures.
- Help support the continued development of the clinic’s IV and infusion program.

Clinic Operations and Front-Desk Support

- Create a warm, professional and welcoming experience for every patient.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out.
- Answer telephone calls, emails and general patient inquiries.
- Schedule, confirm and manage appointments.
- Process payments and maintain accurate patient records.
- Use clinic EMR and administrative systems effectively.
- Monitor and restock clinical and office supplies.
- Keep reception and treatment areas clean, organized and welcoming.
- Assist with opening, closing and other daily clinic procedures.
- Support the clinic’s overall day-to-day operations.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience and confidence with venipuncture and IV initiation.




- Strong patient-assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to recognize concerns and determine when escalation is required.
- Strong organization, multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using EMR systems and general computer programs.
- Professional, reliable, detail-oriented and proactive.
- Calm and professional when handling unexpected situations or concerns.
- Able to move comfortably between clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Committed to providing a warm and professional patient experience.

Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an asset:
- IV therapy or infusion nursing
- Private medical or wellness clinics
- Medical aesthetics
- Family practice
- Outpatient nursing
- Multidisciplinary or multi-practitioner clinics
- Patient-facing private or concierge healthcare
