Active Recovery Sports Injury & Physiotherapy is a multiple award-winning rehabilitation and wellness clinic proudly serving the Clarington and Oshawa communities since 1990. Our multidisciplinary team provides one-on-one personalized care and collaborates across a range of services, including physiotherapy, vestibular physiotherapy, TMJ physiotherapy, pelvic physiotherapy, concussion physiotherapy, massage therapy, osteopathy, naturopathy, and chiropody.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys one-on-one patient care, values clinical excellence, and wants to work in a team-oriented multidisciplinary environment with an established patient base and streamlined referral opportunities.

You will have the opportunity to work with patients presenting with sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and a variety of orthopedic and functional concerns, while developing individualized treatment programs based on each patient's goals.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and identify patients' functional needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
- Treat a diverse caseload, including sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients on exercises, injury prevention, self-management,



and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide clear communication regarding treatment plans, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to support comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in appropriate inter-referrals and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment.
- Maintain professional standards and provide a high-quality patient experience.

Requirements

- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario — mandatory.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient-centered approach with a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
