Exciting News: We are excited to share that our agency is expanding and growing our team. We are offering one NEW independent registered social worker or psychotherapist subcontractor position to our dynamic team of motivated social workers to provide in-person psychotherapy for clients at Ian Robertson Therapy Group Services, serving children and adolescents and/or adults. Our agency specializes in trauma, mental health, addictions, and couples therapy.

Our agency will provide clinical consultation to successful candidates to support them in their clinical work.

Therapist Clinical Responsibilities:

- Establishes a positive, trusting rapport with clients.
- Provides evidence-based therapies for trauma, mental health, and substance use dependencies.
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances.
- Meets with adult clients regularly to provide psychotherapy.
- Conducts thorough assessments, develops case formulation and treatment plans, and monitors client progress.
- Maintains thorough and complete records of client meetings and progress.
- In-person therapy position (with virtual services offered in the office)
- Part-time or full-time availability
- Self-scheduling of clients and flexible work hours




- The subcontracted rate is between $90-100 per 55-minute session.
- Must adhere to the OCSWSSW Standards of Practice or CRPO standards

Therapist Qualifications/Skills:

- Master of Social Work (Requirement) or
- Master of Psychotherapy
- Member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists
- Private practice insurance coverage is required.
- 3-5 years of clinical private practice at the graduate level
- REQUIRED: accredited certification in trauma therapies including complex trauma
- Be certified in CBT & proficient in Motivational Interviewing
- It is a benefit to have a working awareness of Polyvagal Theory, Structural Dissociation Theory, and other related evidence-based trauma therapies.
- Must demonstrate self-awareness of cultural trauma-informed practices.
- Must reside in the Niagara Region

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
