Renovation Manager

Full-Time | $7,950 per Month ($95,400 Annually)

Deep Cove Customs is looking for a Renovation Manager to take ownership of our renovation projects from planning through completion.

This is an important leadership position within our growing company. We are looking for someone who understands construction, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in delivering organized, well-managed projects and exceptional finished spaces.

The Role

As our Renovation Manager, you will be the key person responsible for keeping renovation projects organized, scheduled, communicated, and moving forward.

You will work closely with our Office Manager, Design Team, production staff, installers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to coordinate each project from the initial planning stages through construction, installation, deficiencies, and final completion.

You won't spend your day sitting behind a desk. This position combines project management, site coordination, client communication, construction knowledge, and problem-solving.

Every renovation is different, and we need someone who can confidently manage the moving pieces while keeping the team and client informed.

What You'll Be Doing

- Take ownership of residential and commercial renovation projects from planning through completion.
- Develop and maintain realistic project schedules and coordinate trades, materials, deliveries, production, and installation.
- Act as a primary point of communication between clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, installers, and our internal team.




- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, confirm details, identify deficiencies, and resolve issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, schematics, and other project documentation.
- Prepare and review estimates, scopes of work, material requirements, and project changes.
- Work closely with the Office Manager on project budgets, invoicing, progress billing, change orders, and cost tracking.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential scheduling, material, trade, or site issues before they create unnecessary delays.
- Coordinate subcontractors and confirm that work is completed according to project requirements and expected quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding schedules, selections, project progress, changes, and decisions required.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, site notes, approvals, changes, deficiencies, and supporting records.
- Use Bluebeam or similar software for reviewing drawings, markups, and project documentation.
- Ensure company safety procedures and applicable workplace and construction safety requirements are followed.
- Manage multiple active projects while maintaining organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to continuously improve how our projects are planned and delivered.

Who We're Looking For We aren't simply looking for someone who can follow a schedule. We want someone who can lead a project.

You understand that renovations rarely go exactly as planned. When something unexpected happens, you assess the situation, communicate clearly, develop a solution, and keep the project moving.

You are comfortable speaking with homeowners one minute and working through construction details with trades the next.

The successful candidate will bring:

- Proven experience in renovation, residential construction, construction management, or project management.




- Strong practical knowledge of renovation sequencing, construction methods, materials, and trade coordination.
- Experience preparing or reviewing construction estimates and scopes of work.
- Confidence reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong scheduling, organization, and time-management abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities without losing track of the details.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make practical decisions in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and respectful approach when working with clients, trades, suppliers, designers, and coworkers.
- Comfort using construction/project-management software and digital documentation.
- Experience with Bluebeam or similar software is an asset.
- Knowledge of workplace and construction-site safety practices.
- Renovation-specific experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation Salary: $7,950 per month / $95,400 annually
