About the Role

Position: Research & Development Engineer

Location: West-End Halifax HQ & Auburn, New York Facility

Experience: Background in Chemical Engineering required. Special consideration will be given to applicants with experience in manufacturing scale-up.

What You’ll Do

This is not a bench-only role. As an R&D; Engineer at Infusd, you’ll sit at the intersection of cutting-edge formulation science and real-world manufacturing. You’ll take technologies from lab validation to full industrial execution, and get the chance to working with industry leading companies.

You will

- Own formulation scale-up from lab and pilot scale through to commercial manufacturing, ensuring performance, stability,



and repeatability at industrial volumes.
- Validate and optimize formulations across pilot and production equipment, turning ambitious R&D; concepts into robust, manufacturable processes.
- Run point on production at our large-scale manufacturing facility in Geneva, NY, including in office troubleshooting, process monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Team up with manufacturing, operations, and commercial to deliver on major customer programs and high-profile strategic partnerships.
- Build and execute SOPs, process parameters, and technical documentation that keep production repeatable and high-quality production.
- Identify and solve scale-up challenges related to solubility, stability, flow, dispersion, and ingredient performance.
- Collaborate with leading global partners and customers to tailor formulations for specific real world food, beverage, and nutrition applications.
- Contribute to next-generation platform development, helping shape Infusd’s technology roadmap as we rapidly expand capacity and product offerings.

This role offers direct exposure to commercial manufacturing, the chance to see your work move quickly from concept to market, and the opportunity to grow alongside a company scaling at speed. Note: Travel to New York facility is a requirement of the job, requiring up to one half of all working days at that site.

Salary Range:

$80,000-100,000 + Stock Options
