Duties

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform installations of new HVAC equipment following schematics and technical specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance to optimize system performance and extend equipment lifespan
- Utilize plumbing, welding, and mechanical skills to modify or repair system components as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure precise work
- Assist with appliance repair related to HVAC systems or associated mechanical devices
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and documentation of all work performed




- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and manufacturer guidelines

Experience

- Proven experience as an HVAC technician with residential service or installation background
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair
- Construction experience that includes working with schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Mechanic experience in related fields such as automotive or industrial machinery is a plus
- Knowledge of schematics and ability to interpret technical diagrams accurately
- Solid problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
