Snow Problem is a snow removal company run by the same team behind Pane Relief, a window cleaning and exterior services company that has been in business for 7 years and has served thousands of clients.

That experience is the foundation of Snow Problem: we know how to build routes, keep clients happy, and show up when we say we will. We keep residential and commercial properties clear so our clients wake up to a driveway that's already done. We're growing fast, and we're looking for people who want to be part of it from the ground floor.

The Role

As a Snow Removal Technician, you'll be responsible for a route of recurring client properties. When a snowfall of 5cm or more hits, we're dispatched and have 24 hours to get every property done. You'll clear driveways, walkways, and entrances, operate equipment, and make sure each site is left safe and looking sharp.

What You'll Do

- Transparent snow from driveways, sidewalks, steps, and entrances using shovels, snowblowers, and other equipment
- Apply salt and chip built-up ice at properties on our Summit plan
- Load, unload, and transport equipment safely between sites
- Follow the route and job list provided for each dispatch
- Take before/after photos and report any site issues, damage, or hazards
- Treat every client's property, and every teammate, with respect

How Pay Works You earn 30% of the operating profit generated by your route, paid out monthly.

- Operating profit means the revenue collected from your route's clients,



minus the direct costs of servicing it: [fuel, salt, equipment wear, consumables, other direct costs, confirm what's included].
- Payment is issued monthly, on [date, e.g. the 15th] for the previous month.

Before You Apply: What This Job Really Looks Like We'd rather be upfront now than have a surprise on day one. This is not a 9-to-5.
- Early mornings. When it snows, our day starts early, often before sunrise, so clients are clear before they head out. Expect some 4:00-5:00 AM starts.
- Snow-driven schedule. Your hours depend on the weather. Big snowfalls mean long days and back-to-back dispatches. Quiet weeks mean fewer hours and lower earnings. You must be available and reachable when a snowfall triggers a dispatch.
- Hard, physical work. You'll be on your feet in the cold, lifting, shoveling, and pushing equipment for hours at a time. It's tiring, and it's meant for people who like real work and being outside.
- Cold, wet, and unpredictable conditions. Edmonton winters are cold. You'll work in it.
- Reliability is everything. Our clients pay us to show up, and your route's profit depends on it. If a property gets missed or done late, everyone feels it.

What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual,



and able to work early mornings and on short notice
- Physically fit and comfortable with strenuous outdoor work in cold weather
- A self-motivated team player with a good attitude when conditions are tough
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to our meeting point [required / preferred]
- Prior snow removal, landscaping, or labour experience is an asset, but we'll train the right person
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
