Retail Sales Assistant – LloydMall Pop-Up

Overview

We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our pop-up store at LloydMall. You’ll be helping customers find blankets, clothing, and other products while keeping the store organized and welcoming.

This is a seasonal position running from now until February 28, 2027. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has previous customer service experience, and can take initiative in a busy retail environment.

Duties

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Help customers choose blankets, clothing, and other products
- Organize and fold blankets, hoodies, sweats, hats, and other merchandise
- Keep tables and displays clean, organized, and attractive
- Bring your own ideas for product displays and store organization
- Help set up, change, and maintain merchandise displays
- Process debit, credit, cash, and other POS transactions
- Answer customer questions about products
- Unpack, organize, and restock inventory
- Keep track of products and communicate when items need to be restocked




- Assist with opening and closing the store on assigned days
- Keep the store clean and organized throughout the day
- Take initiative and help wherever needed

Requirements
- Previous customer service or retail experience is required
- Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with customers
- Strong English communication skills
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Reliable and punctual
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments
- Basic math skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable opening and closing the store on some shifts

The Person We're Looking For We want someone who does more than just stand behind the counter. You should be someone who is energetic, good with people, reliable, and willing to take initiative.

You’ll have the chance to bring your own ideas to the store, whether that’s improving how products are displayed, organizing the tables, or finding better ways to help customers.

This position runs until February 28, 2027.

Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
