Krause Berry Farms & Estate Winery is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our Market Team in a full time, year-round position.

Our purpose is to provide Excellent Care through our four core values of Safety, Quality, WOW and Efficiency, which are incorporated into everything we do.

This position is a combination of working on the Market floor and working as a cashier. We are looking for someone with previous gift store or retail experience who enjoys helping people, likes staying busy and takes pride in keeping a store stocked, organized and looking its best.

Our Market can be very busy, particularly during the summer and holiday seasons, so you need to be comfortable working at a fast pace and moving between different tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities include:

- Working as a cashier and providing friendly, efficient service to our guests
- Accurately processing cash, credit and debit transactions
- Helping guests find products and answering questions
- Stocking and replenishing merchandise throughout the Market
- Keeping shelves, displays and cash areas clean and organized
- Unpacking, pricing and putting away new merchandise
- Receiving and processing incoming shipments
- Helping create and maintain attractive product and seasonal displays
- Monitoring floor stock and replenishing products as needed
- Maintaining good knowledge of the products we carry
- Preparing gift baskets when required
- Keeping stock and storage areas organized
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Helping other members of the Farm Team wherever needed during busy periods





What we're looking for:

- Previous gift store or retail experience is required
- Previous cashier and POS experience
- Experience with merchandising, displays and stocking is an asset
- Friendly, positive and comfortable interacting with guests
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable, flexible and able to work well with others
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Full-time, year-round availability
- Weekend availability is required
- Flexible availability as shifts may include early mornings and evenings
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs

This is a hands-on retail position. Your day may include everything from working cash and helping guests to unpacking new merchandise, stocking shelves, putting together displays and preparing gift baskets. If you have previous gift store experience, enjoy working with people and have an eye for keeping a retail space looking its best, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
