About Sleep Cult

Sleep Cult is a recent Canadian mattress brand built around a simple idea: Sleep isn’t a routine. It’s a ritual.

We're building a different kind of sleep brand. Bold, modern, social-first, and focused on making buying a mattress feel a lot less boring.

We're looking for someone to become the face and day-to-day presence of our Toronto showroom while also helping us build Sleep Cult online.

The Role

This is a hybrid retail, content creation, and social media position.

You'll be responsible for running the Sleep Cult showroom Wednesday through Sunday. You'll greet customers, help them try our mattresses, answer questions, and guide them through the buying process.

The showroom won't always be busy, and that's intentional.

During quieter periods, you'll work on growing Sleep Cult through social media and content. That could mean filming TikToks and Reels in the showroom, creating Instagram Stories, answering comments and DMs, brainstorming content ideas, photographing products, or helping us test new ways to get people talking about the brand.

What You'll Do

- Run the Sleep Cult showroom Wednesday through Sunday, 12 to 8 PM
- Welcome customers and provide a relaxed, helpful sales experience
- Learn our mattresses and help customers choose the right option
- Process and assist with customer orders
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and looking great
- Create short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
- Film and edit Reels and TikToks
- Post Stories and behind-the-scenes content
- Help manage Sleep Cult's social accounts
- Respond to comments, DMs,



and customer questions
- Brainstorm and test new content ideas
- Help us make Sleep Cult feel like a brand people actually want to follow

Who We're Looking For You don't need years of retail experience.

We're more interested in someone who is:

- Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to new people
- Naturally good with Instagram, TikTok, and social media
- Comfortable appearing on camera
- Creative and willing to experiment with content
- Reliable and able to independently run the showroom
- Organized and self-motivated during quieter periods
- Interested in sales, marketing, content, or entrepreneurship
- Excited about joining a young company where the role can grow

Experience with retail, sales, social media, photography, video editing, or content creation is an asset, but not required.

Room to Grow

Sleep Cult is still early, which means this role has significant room to evolve.

Someone who performs well could take on more responsibility across social media, content, marketing, partnerships, events, showroom operations, or sales as the company grows.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build the brand, not just work a retail shift.
