Return-It is British Columbia's largest beverage container recycling network. We are hiring depot staff at our Coquitlam location to assist with bottle and container sorting, counting, and customer service. This position is open to full-time or part-time.No prior experience is required; we provide on-the-job training. Starting wage is $18.25/hr (BC minimum wage).
Responsibilities
- Sort and count beverage containers (bottles, cans, cartons, and plastics) by material type and brand
- Greet customers, process container returns, and issue refunds at the depot counter
- Bag, bale, and prepare sorted containers for pickup and transport to processing facilities
- Record container counts accurately and maintain daily tally sheets; report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected depot environment in accordance with hygiene and safety protocols
