About the Opportunity

We are recruiting Road Technicians for an employer partner in Mississauga. These are full-time, permanent field-based positions involving the inspection, diagnosis, testing, servicing and repair of equipment at customer sites.

We are currently recruiting for the following opportunities:

1. Heavy Equipment Road Technician

Wage: $32–$40/hour The Heavy Equipment Road Technician will diagnose and repair construction and aerial equipment, including diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Diagnose and repair construction and aerial equipment.
- Service equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, aerial equipment and towable equipment.
- Travel to customer sites to perform inspections, testing and repairs.
- Read and follow equipment manuals, schematics and service procedures.
- Test equipment under operating conditions.
- Provide technical guidance to service technicians and customers.
- Complete service documentation and computer records.
- Maintain inventory and service records.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment repair or related experience.
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence and clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with diesel, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.




- Heavy equipment trades certification is an asset.
- WHMIS or other health and safety training is an asset.
- Ability to safely wear required PPE.

2. Heat Road Technician / Gasfitter Wage: $24–$30/hour The Heat Road Technician will travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, test and repair construction heating equipment, including natural gas, propane, diesel and electric-fired heaters.

Key responsibilities include:

- Diagnose and repair natural gas, propane, diesel and electric-fired heaters.
- Travel safely to customer sites for on-site repairs.
- Inspect and test equipment to ensure it is safe and rental-ready.
- Read and follow manuals, schematics and service procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to service technicians and customers.
- Complete service documentation and computer records.
- Maintain service and inventory records.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work independently in varying weather conditions.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction heaters/equipment or related experience.
- Apprentices are welcome to apply.
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver’s Licence and clean driver’s abstract.
- Ability to lift and load/unload up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and general electrical knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.





Required certification – applicants must hold at least one:

- Over 400,000 BTU Construction Heater Repair & Maintenance Certificate
- CH-SM1 Certificate
- TSSA Ontario G2 Gas Fitter Certificate of Qualification
