Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse roofing projects, contributing to the creation of durable, high-quality structures. As a key team member, you will assist with various tasks that ensure the successful completion of roofing installations and repairs while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and construction equipment
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, measuring, and setting up materials according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and saws to cut, shape, and install roofing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials like shingles, plywood, and metal sheets safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution




- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing and structural components as needed

Experience

- Prior construction experience or background in carpentry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic building techniques
- Experience with blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safety protocols at all times
- Handyman experience or general maintenance skills are a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills on the job and work effectively within a team setting
