Service, Repair & Exterior Restoration Division

We are a well-established, family-owned company seeking an experienced roofing professional to join our Service & Repair Division. This position is ideal for a seasoned roofer who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, interacting with customers, and delivering high-quality workmanship.

Unlike production roofing positions focused on repetitive installations, this role offers variety, responsibility, and year-round opportunities. You'll work on roofing inspections, leak investigations, service repairs, emergency calls, warranty work, and exterior restoration projects across the GTA while operating a company vehicle.

What You'll Be Doing

- Perform residential and light commercial roofing inspections and repairs
- Diagnose and repair roof leaks, ventilation issues, and weather-related damage
- Complete service, warranty, and emergency repair work
- Perform repairs on both sloped and flat roofing systems
- Install and repair flashing, skylights, and related roof components
- Complete minor carpentry repairs associated with roofing work
- Repair and replace soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and siding components as required
- Drive a company vehicle to job sites throughout the GTA
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
- Identify repair solutions and provide recommendations to customers
- Work independently or lead a small crew as required
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards

Ideal Candidate The successful applicant will:





- Have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on roofing experience
- Be capable of independently diagnosing roofing problems and leak sources
- Have experience with both residential and commercial roofing repairs
- Be comfortable speaking directly with customers and representing the company professionally
- Take pride in workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Be reliable, self-motivated, and organized
- Have strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Enjoy varied work rather than repetitive production roofing

Required Skills & Experience Experience in some or all of the following:

- Sloped roofing systems
- Flat roofing systems
- Leak detection and roof repairs
- Sheet metal flashing installation and repairs
- Skylight installation and repairs
- Basic carpentry repairs
- Soffit, fascia, siding, and eavestrough repairs
- Service and warranty work
- Emergency response repair work

Qualifications

- Proven experience in the roofing and exterior renovation industry
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working safely at heights
- Strong ladder safety and rooftop access skills
- Current Working at Heights (WAH) Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Health & Safety Awareness Training
- Ability to provide work-related references
- Clean Criminal Background Check
- Commitment to safe work practices and company safety policies

Schedule

- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday
- Peak roofing season: March through December
- Ongoing service and repair work throughout the year
- Occasional emergency response work as required
