Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Officer to champion safety protocols across construction sites. Duties

- Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify hazards and enforce safety standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans in collaboration with project management
- Ensure all workers are trained on safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate incidents and accidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
- Coordinate with construction management software tools to track safety compliance and report progress




- Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce best practices and address concerns
- Maintain comprehensive safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation

Skills

- Proven experience in construction safety management or related roles within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites (e.g., OSHA standards)
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and report findings clearly
- Ability to identify hazards quickly and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records

Pay: $30.00-$44.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 80.0 per week
