Role Description The Sales Floor Associate - Victoria Park and/or Bridgeland is a part-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for delivering friendly, attentive service to all customers. Day-to-day activities include greeting guests, assessing their needs, and recommending wines, craft beers, and spirits that align with their preferences and budgets. The role involves stocking shelves, rotating inventory, setting up displays, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.

The Sales Floor

Associate processes transactions at the point of sale, verifies age requirements, and handles returns or exchanges in accordance with store policies. This role also supports tastings,



promotions, and in-store events, while contributing to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized recommendations.
- Retail sales and cash handling experience, including operating POS systems and managing basic transactions accurately.
- Organizational and time management skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and inventory rotation on a busy sales floor.
- Basic product knowledge or strong interest in wine, craft beer, and spirits, with a willingness to learn and attend training.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes or cases of product, and perform other physical tasks as required.
- Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or beverage alcohol sales is an asset; formal product certifications are a plus.
- Must meet legal age requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages in Alberta and be ProServe Certified.
- MUST HAVE EVENING/WEEKEND AVAILABILITY!!!
