Role Summary The Finance Manager, Sales & eCommerce is a key strategic business partner to the Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Operations, and Commercial Finance teams. This role provides financial leadership, analysis, and decision support to optimize customer investments, improve Gross-to-Net visibility (including Cost-to-Serve), strengthen customer and eCommerce profitability, and support sustainable revenue and margin growth.

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial and financial acumen, a collaborative business-partner mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights, recommendations, and action plans. This role also provides leadership and development support to the Sales Finance team while helping build financial capability across Sales and Commercial Operations.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Commercial Capabilities

- Connects and aligns goals and objectives across Sales, Commercial Operations and Commercial Finance, improving visibility and understanding of customer investments and Gross-to-Net drivers
- Provides financial analysis and decision support for customer investments, customer margin, and new business/channel opportunities
- Partners with Sales and Revenue Management to evaluate trade strategy, optimize spend, and monitor execution of key trade and commercial initiatives
- Leverages customer portfolio principles to identify profitable customer, channel, and brand mix opportunities
- Supports Revenue Management in setting the annual trade plan by brand.




- Provides robust tracking and monitoring of trade spend while ensuring appropriate controls are in place
- Provides financial leadership and visibility into customer and eCommerce profitability, including Pureplay, Omni, and emerging retailers, while monitoring performance against targets
- Collaborates with Customer Planning and Integration to develop customer fines forecasts and mitigation plans

Business Performance Management:
- Leads monthly and quarterly Customer Business Reviews and analysis of Gross-to-Net and Profitability results, including trade, sales returns, and allowances, providing insight into variances versus plan, forecast, and prior year
- Owns the trade estimate process for corporate forecasts by tracking trade performance versus plan and identifying drivers of variance to support corrective action
- Develops value-added capabilities to enhance reporting, insights, and decision support for customer profitability and eCommerce performance
- Provides dotted-line oversight of the Trade Deduction team to support timely clearing and resolution of open deductions and repayment of invalid deductions, helping reduce accounts receivable balances and improve cash conversion cycle performance

People, Process & Governance:
- Provides guidance, direction, coaching, and development for the Sales Finance team,



fostering a supportive and inclusive setting
- Builds financial acumen across Sales and Commercial Operations through training, education, and business partnership
- Develops standardized and streamlined processes, reporting, analytics, and ways of working to improve execution and increase Finance engagement
- Owns trade governance, compliance, and monitoring to ensure controls are effective and meet internal and external audit requirements

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting & MBA or CPA Accounting designation
- 7+ years of business experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
- Strong financial & commercial acumen with experience in Sales/Revenue Management Finance
- Managerial/direct supervisory experience required
- Experience with Oracle and SAP is an asset

Skills and Competencies

- Ability to work with complex concepts, analyze data, draw conclusions, make sound recommendations using judgment, experience and industry knowledge
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to make impactful decisions with limited supervision
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial procedures and forecasting practices
- Advanced analytical proficiency, business judgment, modelling and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and business partnership skills
- High level of enthusiasm with a growth-oriented, solutions-focused mindset
