Responsibilities

- Greet, welcome and act as the first point of contact for Black2Blond & Hype Hair Studio clientele. Be personable, warm and inviting!
- Greet each customer professionally by name, escort all clients through the salon, and give salon tours when necessary.
- Knowledge of company promotions, sales, items in stock, and general salon information.
- Promote and sell services and products, provide recommendations on additional services and/or retail products.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Salon operations, including but not limited to: answering telephones and scheduling appointments, stocking shelves, sweeping, laundry and other duties as assigned by salon manager.
- Handle all POS transactions including opening and closing of the register.
- Refer customer service issues to the Salon Manager.
- Black2Blond / Hype Hair Studio is closed on Sunday/Monday.

Qualifications

- You’re a natural people person.
- Strong interpersonal skills,



ability to communicate in a skilled and courteous manner with customers, coworkers and management.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment & work well under pressure.
- Exceptional time management skills, exhibiting sound judgment, and the ability to multi-task is paramount.
- Experience with point-of- sale systems, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, 3 days a week (15hrs total per week)

Salary: From $19-22 per hour, varies depending on experience.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
