Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and productive Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations within a dynamic food service setting.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is handled safely and prepared in accordance with sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area, adhering to sanitation standards
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers,



answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to handle peak hours without compromising quality or speed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts

Requirements

- Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.95 per hour
