Role Description The Sandwich Maker is a full-time, on-site role based at our Halifax, NS location. This role is responsible for preparing and assembling sandwiches and related menu items according to standardized recipes and customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include slicing and portioning ingredients, maintaining food prep stations, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and handling customer orders promptly and accurately.

The Sandwich

Maker will interact with guests, answer questions about menu items, and process transactions as needed.



The role also involves restocking supplies, assisting with opening and closing duties, and collaborating with team members to keep service efficient and the work area organized.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and Food Service to assemble menu items efficiently and consistently.
- Candidates should possess skills in Food & Beverage and Food Safety to handle ingredients properly and maintain hygiene standards.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., boxes of supplies).
- Robust attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow recipes and safety procedures.
- Experience in a restaurant, café, or fast-casual environment is an asset but not required.
- Availability for full-time shifts, including possible evenings and weekends as needed.
