Job Title: Security Guard

Location: 125 King St W, Kitchener, ON N2G 1A7

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time, Evenings and Weekends

About Us:

Aura Night Club is a brand-new Latin and Top 40 nightclub located in the heart of Downtown Kitchener. We pride ourselves on friendly service and creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for our guests. We are currently building an in-house security team dedicated to maintaining the safety and security of our guests and staff!

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle various situations effectively and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in opening the club
- Ensure that IDs are properly checked for 19+ shows
- Monitor and maintain safety and security of our guests and the venue
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any suspicious activity
- Assist in crowd control and manage entry and exit points
- Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively
- Report any incidents or issues to the management team

Qualifications:

- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday nights
- Minimum 1 year of security experience in a nightclub, bar, event, or similar environment required.




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Must hold a valid security guard license and smart serve license
- Possesses both CPR and First Aid Certification
