About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer with expertise in water and sanitation systems to join their established, fully remote team. This role is crucial for the design, development, and implementation of sustainable water supply and wastewater management solutions for communities and industrial clients. You will collaborate virtually with project managers, municipal officials, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of vital infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of water supply networks, treatment plants, and wastewater collection and treatment systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, hydraulic modeling, and impact assessments for water and sanitation projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Oversee project construction and provide technical support to site teams, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, contractors,



and regulatory agencies in a virtual environment.
- Ensure designs meet all relevant engineering standards, environmental regulations, and public health requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water and Environmental Engineering.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the design and management of water and sanitation infrastructure.
- Proficiency in water and wastewater modeling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, WaterGEMS).
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, distribution systems, and sanitation technologies.
- Proven experience in project management and leading technical teams remotely.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA is required.
