Regal Fire Protection Services Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician to service customers throughout the GTA. This role is for a technician who can take ownership of a job, think critically in the field, and work independently without needing constant direction.

What we’re looking for

· Minimum 5 years of hands-on fire alarm experience.

· Solid fire alarm troubleshooting ability. If you cannot confidently trace ground faults or handle advanced fire alarm troubleshooting, this role is not for you.

· Experience troubleshooting auxiliary systems connected to fire alarm systems, including fan shutdown, pressurization fans, maglocks, door holders, and elevator recall.

· Familiarity with fire alarm inspections and the ability to act as a lead technician on inspections.

· Strong working knowledge of CAN/ULC-S536, CAN/ULC-S537, and CAN/ULC-S524. Knowledge of CAN/ULC-S561 monitoring requirements is a significant asset.

· Programming experience on Mircom FX-2000, Mircom FX-4000, Edwards EST3, and/or Simplex 4100 is a major asset.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

· Punctual, dependable, and organized.

· Valid driver’s licence required.

Compensation

$30.00–$50.00 per hour, depending on experience and capability.

On-call rotation

This position includes participation in a rotational emergency-service on-call schedule. On-call coverage and emergency call-outs will be compensated.

Regal Fire Protection Services Ltd. is seeking a Senior Fire Alarm Inspection Technician to lead fire alarm inspections throughout the GTA. This role is focused on inspection knowledge, leadership, documentation, and compliance—not simply following another technician through a building.

What we’re looking for

· Extensive experience performing and leading fire alarm inspections.

· Strong, practical knowledge of CAN/ULC-S536 and CAN/ULC-S537.

· A clear understanding of the requirements for both annual and monthly fire alarm inspections. If you do not have solid code knowledge and real experience performing these inspections, this is not the right role for you.

· Ability to lead inspection teams, organize work efficiently, identify deficiencies, and ensure inspection documentation is complete and accurate.

· Ability to communicate professionally with customers, building staff, and other trades while on site.

· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

· Punctual, dependable, and organized.

· Valid driver’s licence required.
