Position Description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 3 days per week subject to change at any time.

CGI is seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud to join our team in Toronto.

In this role, you will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyze complex business requirements, facilitate requirements workshops, and translate business needs into explicit and actionable solutions. You will provide business analysis leadership throughout the Agile delivery lifecycle and contribute your Guidewire PolicyCenter expertise to support successful project outcomes.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation for Guidewire PolicyCenter initiatives.
- Analyze business processes and translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
- Apply Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud expertise to support functional analysis and solution delivery.
- Manage stakeholder requirements, priorities, dependencies, and clarification throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide business analysis leadership within an Agile delivery environment.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA professionals, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Support requirement clarification, functional analysis, testing, and implementation activities.
- Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.




- Maintain clear and accurate business and functional documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

- 8+ years of Guidewire Business Systems Analyst experience.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud certification.
- Strong experience with requirements analysis and business process analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management and facilitating requirements workshops.
- Experience providing business analysis leadership within Agile delivery environments.

Assets
- Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting processes.
- Experience with insurance policy administration.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55/hr - $80/hr. This role is an existing vacancy."
