About The Opportunity

Our Public Sector client has a requirement for a Senior Procurement Specialist, on an as-and-when-required basis, to support procurement planning and strategy development related to sustainment planning and Business Case Analysis activities.

The successful candidate will provide senior-level procurement expertise, supporting procurement planning, contracting options, industry engagement and the development of procurement strategies aligned with applicable legislative and organizational requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Planning and coordinating procurement activities, including financial estimates, business requirements and contracting options
- Providing briefings on procurement progress and concerns
- Identifying potential procurement issues and proposing solutions
- Developing procurement strategies for the acquisition of products or services,



including approaches for industry engagement, competition and procurement in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational policies

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in procurement planning for sustainment planning or Business Case Analysis (BCA)-related projects
- Experience directly participating in the development of procurement strategies for at least two (2) sustainment planning or BCA-related projects
- Must have a relevant combination of education, qualified certification and experience
- Must hold a valid Secret security clearance
- Must meet applicable Controlled Goods requirements
- Must be fluent in English, orally and in writing
