About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Site Engineer to oversee key engineering aspects of construction projects in Kimberley . You will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering work on site is executed to the highest technical standards, in accordance with design specifications, and adhering strictly to safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage engineering teams and subcontractors, coupled with a deep understanding of construction methodologies and site operations. You will be instrumental in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring quality and efficiency in the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical guidance and supervision for all site engineering activities.
- Ensure construction work complies with engineering design, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage site teams, including engineers, surveyors, and foremen, to achieve project objectives.
- Oversee the execution of civil works, structural installations, and other engineering disciplines.




- Implement and enforce site safety protocols related to engineering operations.
- Review technical drawings, method statements, and project documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with a significant portion in a senior capacity.
- Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and site management practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities.
