Our client, a well-established North American company, is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager – Direct Tax to join their growing tax team. This is a fully remote opportunity for a tax professional who thrives on solving complex problems, driving process improvements, and mentoring others.

Reporting to the Director of Tax, you'll be a key player in income tax accounting, compliance, and reporting — while also acting as a go-to technical resource across the organization. You'll get exposure to high-impact projects spanning M&A; integration, cross-border compliance, transfer pricing, and strategic tax planning.

What You'll Do

- Lead quarterly and annual tax provision reviews and IFRS-compliant disclosures
- Evaluate new contracts and IFRS developments for tax accounting impact
- Oversee corporate direct tax reporting, compliance, and transfer pricing documentation
- Advise on tax implications of sales, digital services, product launches, and supply chain design
- Support post-acquisition integration and entity rationalization




- Mentor and develop tax team members
- Drive automation across compliance and reporting processes
- Manage tax audits and regulatory queries

What You Bring

- 8+ years of combined experience in Big 4 public accounting and industry
- Strong technical expertise in Canadian income tax; US tax exposure a plus
- Solid IFRS knowledge, particularly around multinational tax provisions
- CPA designation (or equivalent), plus completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Tax
- Proven people leadership experience
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and tax software (Taxprep, Alteryx, OneStream)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
