The Opportunity

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Wedding & Events Sales Specialist to join our team — a proven closer who can turn a couple's vision into a beautifully executed celebration. Weddings are the heart of our business, complemented by a strong stream of corporate and social events, and this role sits at the centre of our growth.

This is a position for a seasoned sales professional, not an entry-level hire. What sets it apart is what we put behind you. You won't be starting cold: we generate three to four qualified leads every single day, so you'll step into a steady flow of couples and clients ready to talk.

The earning potential reflects the calibre of person we're looking for. We offer a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission,



with on-target earnings beginning at $60,000 and top performers realistically earning $100,000 to $125,000 and beyond. Your ceiling is set by your results, not by us.

The Role

As our Senior Wedding & Events Sales Specialist, you'll own the full sales cycle. You'll respond to and qualify inbound inquiries, conduct client consultations, and prepare tailored proposals and contracts that bring each client's vision to life. Just as importantly, you'll build your own pipeline — actively developing new business through wedding shows, venue partnerships, referrals, cold outreach, and networking across Toronto's events community.

Beyond closing, you'll partner closely with our culinary and logistics teams to translate what you've sold into flawless execution — recommending menu and service options, coordinating event timelines and details, and ensuring client requirements are communicated accurately from first conversation to final service. You'll attend site visits, represent Seventh Heaven at industry events and showcases, track your sales performance, and contribute to the continuous refinement of how we sell and deliver.

What You Bring

You're an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the catering, hospitality, or events industry, ideally in a senior, client-facing role. You know how to generate leads, qualify prospects, close confidently, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets — and you understand how to connect with couples and navigate the emotional, high-stakes nature of a wedding sale. You bring polished verbal and written communication, the ability to present proposals clearly and negotiate professionally, and strong organizational skills that let you manage multiple events at once without losing a single detail.

You're comfortable working on-site and, when event schedules require it, some evenings and weekends. You're proficient with CRM and event management tools and common office applications, and familiarity with Toronto's event venues is a definite asset.
