Zumi Revolving Sushi Bar is a new Japanese dining concept coming to downtown Vancouver, and we are looking for energetic, friendly, and hospitality-minded people to join our opening team.

Our restaurant offers a modern dining experience where guests order directly from an iPad and their food is delivered through our revolving sushi system.

Because of this unique service style, we are looking for Guest Experience / Service Associates rather than traditional servers. Your role is to make sure every guest feels welcomed, taken care of, and enjoys a smooth and memorable experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome and engage guests with a friendly and professional attitude
- Introduce guests to our ordering system and explain how the restaurant works
- Assist guests with menu questions, dietary concerns, and general requests
- Monitor assigned tables and proactively anticipate guest needs
- Deliver food and other items to guests accurately and efficiently
- Refill water and maintain clean, organized tables
- Explicit and reset tables quickly between guests




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team
- Help resolve guest concerns in a professional and positive manner
- Support opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties
- Follow all restaurant service, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Work as part of a team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods

The Ideal Candidate You don’t necessarily need to be a traditional server.

We’re looking for people who naturally notice when a guest needs something, enjoy interacting with people, and take pride in keeping their environment clean and organized.

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
