We are looking for a friendly and reliable Server to join our team on weekends. In this role, you'll be the friendly face that helps guests enjoy their breakfast and lunch experience, ensuring they receive attentive service in a lively, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hospitality, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for delivering great food and memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS if available, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell menu items such as specialty pancakes, waffles, or drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations following sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed and ensure all food handling practices meet safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy weekend shifts.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with serving, upselling, cashiering, and hospitality is highly desirable.
