Service Advisor

Kramer Mazda | Calgary, AB | $70,000–$100,000/year

As a Service Advisor at Kramer Mazda, you are the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, responsible for communicating recommended repairs, and ensuring a smooth, transparent service experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs

Write up repair orders with accurate, detailed descriptions of work requested

Communicate with technicians to determine necessary repairs, parts, and timelines

Present estimates and obtain customer authorization before work begins

Upsell additional maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer recommendations and vehicle inspection results

Keep customers updated on service status and any changes to cost or timeline

Review completed work with customers and process final invoicing

Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores through follow-up calls and issue resolution

Manage a daily schedule to meet shop capacity and technician availability

Maintain accurate records in the dealership's service management system

Qualifications





Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred (dealership experience an asset)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Basic mechanical knowledge sufficient to explain repairs to customers

Valid driver's license in good standing

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customers simultaneously

Proficiency with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) an asset
