Job Overview

We are seeking a agile and experienced Service Manager specializing in Heavy Equipment to lead our service department with energy and expertise. Duties

- Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality work.
- Oversee the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other machinery.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring timely resolution of service issues.
- Promote upselling of service packages, parts, and accessories to enhance customer value while increasing departmental revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately,



including invoicing and processing payments for services rendered.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements

- Proven experience working in a dealership or service environment specializing in heavy equipment or automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience in diagnosing and repairing large machinery.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in sales or upselling services and parts to customers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Valid technical certifications or relevant training related to heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
