What We’re Looking For
- Registered Licensed Journeyman Plumbers and/or 2nd, 3rd or 4th year plumbing apprentices
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Shows up prepared and takes pride in work
- Can work independently but communicates well with team
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to learn new skills related to plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fitting, and assembling piping and fixtures
- Participate in the assembly of plumbing components according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes during all phases of work
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, quantities, and material estimates
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate installation or repairs on-site.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues by diagnosing problems using schematic diagrams and technical knowledge.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job for accurate reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance within commercial or residential settings.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints an asset but not required.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction-related tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Valid commercial driver’s license preferred for transportation between job sites.
- Basic math skills necessary for measuring materials and calculating project requirements.
