Sheet Metal Apprentice – Entry Level

Air Tech Installation is a growing Sheet Metal/HVAC Contractor located in Stoney Creek, Ontario. We specialize in manufacturing and installing commercial and industrial air-handling systems.

We are looking for a young, motivated Sheet Metal Apprentice who is interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career in the HVAC and sheet metal industry.

No previous sheet metal experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Training will be provided by experienced members of our team.

What You'll Learn

As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced sheet metal tradespeople and develop hands-on skills in:

- Fabricating sheet-metal ductwork and fittings
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling ductwork
- Using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Reading and understanding mechanical and architectural drawings
- Measuring and laying out ductwork
- Installing commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Basic welding and fabrication techniques
- Proper workplace safety and safe tool operation
- Working as part of a professional trade team

- In possession of a clean driving record

Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, mechanical work, or working with tools is an asset, but not required. Being registered as a Sheet Metal Apprentice or having a 308A Sheet Metal licence is an asset. We are also willing to consider someone who is interested in getting started in the trade and becoming a registered apprentice.
