What you will do:

- Create great customer experiences by enthusiastically greeting and welcoming customers to our DQ and delivering quality products in a timely fashion.
- Coordinate and assign staff work duties, ensure operational excellence, product quality, speed of service, cleanliness and preparedness throughout each shift in all areas of the restaurant.
- Quickly and accurately prepare food and treats following DQ recipes and standards.
- Coach and train crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
- Pace the crew to high levels of performance by understanding the importance of speed of service and resolving bottlenecks in workflow.
- Help maintain equipment,



facility and cleanliness throughout the production cycle.
- Calmly solve customer concerns and embrace Dairy Queen’s service recovery standards.
- Create and maintain a positive, safe and inviting atmosphere for customers and staff members.
- Model performance expectations and policy adherence for all team members.
- Follow food safety training and use safe food handling procedures to meet or exceed local health regulations and food safety standards.
- Work in different temperature ranges (refrigerators & freezers), walk and stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry up to 50lbs for short distances.

About You:

- Fully capable of performing the duties listed above to a high level of excellence.
- High volume, quick service restaurant experience (an asset but not required).
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and specific business areas in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude and a great demeanor.
- Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
- ServSafe® certification is an asset by not required.
- A reliable team player who maintains cooperative working relationships with management, peers and other staff members and encourages others to do the same.
- An organized,



detail oriented professional who exhibits a genuine passion for excellence, honesty and integrity and is interested in developing their leadership skills.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic, who can work well independently or as part of a team and enjoys working with and serving people.
- One who exhibits good manners and proper personal hygiene.
