SHUNT DRIVER AND WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

PMC Logistics is a full-service, growing company specializing in ambient, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse storage and distribution services, located in Delta, BC. We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time position for Shunt Driver / Warehouse Associate.

Position Summary The Shunt Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting a number of operational components within the warehouse. The Associate will work with the other team members to unload and load containers and trailers with product, both safely and efficiently. The Associate will also operate the shunt truck to help move containers around the yard, as required.

Key Responsibilities

Duties as described, included but not limited to the following:

- Receive, store, move and pack incoming and outgoing products.
- Ability to pick, pack and sort product for various customers, including staging and sorting of items, palletizing.
- Ability to drive a shunt truck to move containers throughout the yard.
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs, if required.
- Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow and comply with all company, Provincial and Federal Health and Safety Regulations including CFIA and HACCP protocols.
- Carry out additional work-related duties and tasks as assigned by the employer.

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Must have forklift certification
- Must have shunt truck driving experience
- Experience operating a sit-down counterbalance, slip sheet, clamp, and stand-up is preferred. If no experience, willingness to learn is essential.
- Experience working in cold storage environments is preferred. Safety gear will be provided.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Schedule: 8 hour shift. Preferred start time is 5-6 am but can be later if candidate requires. Must be okay with working some overtime, on occasion. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
