Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Siding Installer / Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks including but not limited to installing siding (mainly James Hardie), trim, and soffit, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently. This role requires attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. We work mainly in the North Okanagan.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
- Operate hand tools and power tools.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support skilled tradespeople in various tasks such as siding, soffit, door/window install, etc.

Skills

- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred, but willing to train.




- Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in construction.
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required.

Requirements (must have)

- Valid drivers licence
- Reliable transportation
- Steel toed boots
