Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skid Steer Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders efficiently and safely across various construction sites. Duties

- Operate skid steer loaders to perform tasks such as grading, excavation, loading, and material transport on construction sites
- Assist with the operation of other heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machines as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with team members to execute site preparation, debris removal, and material handling efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment




- Support specialized tasks such as horizontal drilling or other mechanical operations requiring precise control and coordination
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and project progress

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction or heavy equipment environment
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues on machinery
- Familiarity with dozer, excavator, loader operation, backhoe operation, grader operation, and paving equipment is highly desirable
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent preferred for transporting equipment between sites
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is a plus
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Prior experience with horizontal drilling or heavy equipment operation is advantageous
