What This Role Will Be Doing

Summary: Responsible for preparing, slitting, labeling, and managing foil rolls to support production. Ensures material accuracy, quality, inventory control, and safe machine operation.

Key Duties





- Review daily slitting schedule and prepare foils accordingly
- Check existing stock before slitting; follow FIFO rules
- Operate and monitor the slitting machine safely at all times
- Dyne test all new rolls and maintain correct tension during slitting
- Limit each roll to a maximum of three slits and label rolls accurately
- Ensure correct patterns, grain consistency, and color separation
- Identify, label, and report defective or re-rolled foils
- Communicate material availability and issues with the Machine Team Leader
- Maintain foil inventory counts and update tracking documentation
- Work with Machine Operators to reduce waste and use materials efficiently
- Keep the Slitting Station clean, organized, and audit-ready
- Assist Machine or Shipping Departments when available

- Must be willing to work second shift. (Second shift includes a $2.00 shift differential)
