Turn everyday farm moments into videos people want to watch.

One minute you’re filming fresh food coming out of the kitchen. The next, you’re capturing the team building an attraction, a funny animal moment, or the energy of a busy fall weekend.

Maan Farms is looking for an experienced, hands-on content creator who loves finding these moments—and knows how to turn them into finished social media videos.

Your main job is simple: get out around the farm, capture the people and experiences that make it special, and edit that footage into engaging, ready-to-post content. This is a filming and editing role, not a desk-based social media management position.

We are hiring for our current fall season, with opportunities to return for spring, summer and fall 2027. We are reviewing applications as they arrive and want someone who can start quickly.

What you’ll do

- ⁠ ⁠Film across the farm: our team and family, guests, animals, food, bakery, winery, fields, attractions, seasonal events and behind-the-scenes work.
- ⁠Capture a mix of candid moments, short interviews, product details and planned promotional videos. Help people feel comfortable on camera.
- ⁠Edit vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok and Facebook, along with Stories and supporting photos.
- ⁠Create strong opening hooks, clear stories and well-paced edits using captions, music and sound that suit the content.
- Deliver finished videos consistently and meet quick turnarounds for timely events and promotions—not just hand over raw footage.
- Bring your own ideas, spot worthwhile moments without waiting for every shot to be assigned, and adapt relevant trends to our brand.
- Work with our Marketing Manager on priorities, feedback and approval before content is posted.
- Keep footage and editable project files organised in our shared library so the team can find and reuse them.
- Follow our filming, guest-consent and safety guidelines,



especially around children, animals and active farm operations.

What we’re looking for
- ⁠Demonstrated experience filming AND editing social media content, with examples of work you personally created.
- Confidence using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or a comparable editing tool.
- A good eye for framing, lighting, clean audio, storytelling and the details that make a short video worth watching.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys making content and naturally notices interesting people, moments and stories.
- A friendly, proactive approach, reliable follow-through and the ability to take feedback and improve an edit.
- Ability to work on-site in Abbotsford, including weekends, and stay comfortable moving around a busy indoor/outdoor farm environment.

A strong asset: You own and regularly use a DJI Pocket/Osmo Pocket or similar compact camera. Tell us about your setup. Excellent shooting and editing skills matter more than a particular camera brand.
