About Elevate

Elevate Rehabilitation & Performance is a sports rehabilitation and performance clinic in Oakville, Ontario. We work with athletes, active individuals, and people who want to move, train, and perform at their best.

Our approach combines physiotherapy, chiropractic care, athletic therapy, massage therapy, osteopathy, strength and conditioning, and performance testing to help people understand the root cause of their injury and get back to doing what they love.

We are looking for a creative, driven, and strategic Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to help grow the Elevate brand online.

The Role

This role will be responsible for managing and growing Elevate’s social media presence, with a primary focus on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

We are looking for someone who understands that successful social media is more than posting consistently. You will be responsible for identifying trends, developing content ideas, editing engaging videos, analyzing performance, and helping turn Elevate’s social platforms into a meaningful source of brand awareness and recent patient interest.

You will work closely with our practitioners and team to capture the personality, expertise, and culture of Elevate and turn it into content people want to watch and share.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Video Editing

- Edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Turn raw footage from practitioners, workouts, educational videos, events, and behind-the-scenes content into engaging social media posts
- Add captions, graphics, hooks, music, transitions, and other elements when appropriate
- Help develop creative concepts and content ideas
- Repurpose longer-form content into multiple pieces of short-form content
- Maintain a consistent visual style and tone across Elevate’s social platforms

Social Media Management
- Manage Elevate’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube accounts
- Schedule and publish content consistently
- Write engaging captions, titles, descriptions, and calls-to-action
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and engagement




- Help maintain and strengthen Elevate’s online brand presence
- Stay up to date with platform changes, features, and best practices

Social Media Strategy & Growth
- Research current social media trends, sounds, formats, topics, and content styles
- Identify opportunities for Elevate to participate in relevant trends while maintaining a professional healthcare/sports performance brand
- Develop content strategies designed to increase reach, engagement, followers, and brand awareness
- Use social media analytics to understand what content is performing and why
- Test different hooks, formats, topics, posting times, and content styles
- Make recommendations based on performance data
- Track key metrics and provide regular insights on social media growth

Content Planning
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar
- Work with Elevate practitioners to plan upcoming content
- Identify gaps and opportunities in our current content
- Help create recurring content series around our practitioners, services, education, and clinic culture
- Coordinate content around events, partnerships, promotions, and campaigns

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is:

- Creative and comfortable coming up with new ideas
- Highly familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Strong at short-form video editing
- Able to recognize trends early and understand why certain content works
- Comfortable using analytics to make decisions
- Organized and able to manage multiple pieces of content at once
- A strong communicator
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable working with healthcare professionals, athletes, and an active team environment
- Interested in sports, fitness, health, rehabilitation, or performance

Experience & Skills

Required





- Experience managing social media accounts
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and/or YouTube Shorts
- Understanding of social media trends and content strategy
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to analyze social media performance and adjust strategy accordingly

Experience with the following would be an asset:
- CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
- Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Instagram Insights / Meta Business Suite
- TikTok Analytics
- YouTube Studio
- Social media scheduling platforms
- Photography or videography
- Healthcare, sports, fitness, or performance-related content
