Social Worker - Assessment Team

Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with Medway Council to recruit a qualified Social Worker into their Assessment Team.

This is a full time permanent role for a children's social worker who enjoys the variety and pace of assessment and front door work.

The role

- Carrying out timely child and family assessments under the Children Act 1989
- Working with children and families where there are safeguarding concerns
- Building relationships that get to the heart of what each family needs
- Working alongside partner agencies to keep children protected

About You

- Registered with Social Work England
- A recognised social work qualification
- Post qualifying experience in a children's social care setting

The package

- Salary of £39,823 to £43,435 per year
- £5,000 market supplement
- £2,000 annual retention payment
- A permanent role in a supportive Kent authority
